I used to teach Weather Classes for the Coast Guard and I always opened with a question on who would like to see the end of particulate matter in the air, i.e., smog. All hands went up. Then I asked how many would like an end to the biggest greenhouse gas of all, and all hands went up. Then I told them they were consistent, that they wanted a bone dry planet, as moisture must condense on particles for it to rain or snow, and that moisture is the biggest greenhouse gas, not carbon dioxide.
